
Join ArtsArlington’s Public Art Curator Cecily Miller and Commissioner Laurie Bogden, together with featured artists, for Public Art Commemorating the 250th Anniversary of the American Revolution in Arlington — a free talk and reception on Tuesday, May 27 at 7pm at Old Schwamb Mill (17 Mill Lane). Miller and Bogden will be joined by artists Christopher Frost, Nilou Moochhala, and Liz Shepherd, and science communicator Dr. Molly Edwards for a conversation about their projects and the challenges of exploring the complexity of history through public art.

Original silkscreen designs for commemorative banners by Liz Shepherd & Suzanne Moseley, complemented by an audio tour exploring ways the people of 1775 reshaped their ecosystem and depended on plants for almost every aspect of life – from food and materials to political protest. www.PlantStories.us
