Bound together by both Mass Ave. and the Minuteman Bikeway, the Arlington Cultural District encompasses dense neighborhoods that have been home to revolutionaries, artists, and entrepreneurs throughout Arlington’s interesting history. Ride or walk on the Minuteman Bikeway, visit Spy Pond, relax in the Olmsted-designed Town Hall Memorial Garden or the beautiful reading room of the adjacent Robbins Library. Enjoy public art created by our thriving artist community, catch a film or live performance at one of our two independent theaters, or drop in for a craft at Artbeat Creativity Store. Dozens of restaurants, cafes and retail shops can be found throughout the District as well as additional cultural destinations including the Arlington Center for the Arts, the Old Burying Ground, Uncle Sam Plaza, the historic Jason Russell House, and the Cyrus Dallin Sculpture Museum.

The Arlington Cultural District supports creative arts and entertainment activities throughout the year including Porchfest, Romancing the Square, Feast of the East, Arlington Alive Arts Festival, Arlington Town Day, Taste of Arlington, and many more. Come and explore all that the Arlington Cultural District has to offer.

We have developed an interactive Google map that outlines the Cultural District entities that currently exist in Arlington. Browse the map and discover the different arts and culture venues in town! (You can also pick up a copy of the convenient new print map all around town, and take a self-guided audio tour by local historian Ed Gordon!)
