The princess disguises herself as Phocion to infiltrate the guarded "men-only" compound where Agis has been raised to follow Rationalist Philosophy by his uncle and aunt. Mistaken identities, hilarious complications, deeply felt desire, and surprising romantic entanglements ensue.
