Global Voices 2026 Poetry & Theatre Internship

Global Voices 2026 Poetry & Theatre Internship

Global Voices in Verse and Global Voices Theatre Collective are excited to offer a unique summer internship and project experience for high school, middle school, and college students who are passionate about the literary and performing arts. Supported by the Arlington Commission for Arts and Culture (ACAC)Mass Cultural Council (MCC), and ArtsArlington, these initiatives celebrate global poetry, diverse cultural narratives, and creative expression within our community.

About the Organizations
Global Voices in Verse is a community poetry platform founded by poet-educator Dr. Parmit Kumar Singh that brings together poetry lovers of all ages and languages. It fosters intercultural understanding and celebrates literary traditions from across the globe through monthly gatherings where participants read, discuss, and honor works from poets of many nations and languages.

Global Voices Theatre Collective is a dynamic theatre initiative that reimagines poetry through performance. Blending storytelling, theatre, and movement, the Collective produces creative productions that interpret poems on stage, connecting audiences—especially young people—to poetry in innovative ways.
