Arlington Poets Anthology published by Ibbetson Street Press

Poetry is thriving in Arlington, and now you can read for yourself the works of 55 poets in our town, as well as 6 who lived in the late 19th & early 20th centuries, in The Silver Note: Poets of Arlington, Mass, published recently by Ibbetson Street Press. You’ll read works by Fred Marchant, Steven Ratiner, Jean Flanagan, Andy Oram, Teresa Cader, Trapper Markeliz, and many others.

The project came together via the work of Arlington Poet Laureate Jean Flanagan, inspired by the work of numerous town’s artists and organizations preparing for Arlington’s commemoration of the 250th anniversary of the Battles of Lexington, Concord, and Menotomy. Through the generous help of Ibbetson Street Press and under the auspices of ArtsArlington, the anthology came together to showcase Arlington’s poetic talent. Some of the anthology’s authors have been published numerous times; others are published here for the very first time.
