
The Arlington Heights Community Association (AHCA) in collaboration with the Chamber of Commerce is pleased to present our fourth Arlington Heights Holiday Stroll & Tree Lighting on Saturday, December 14, 2 – 5pm. Free for all! Visitors of all ages are invited to stroll along Massachusetts Avenue from Shattuck Heights Hardware to Maruichi Japanese Food and Deli, and view 60+ winter-themed windows painted by Arlington residents in 26 storefronts. Free family fun activities will take place throughout the afternoon, such as the Touch A Truck, Family Games, and Take a Selfie with Reggie the Goalie. Hosted by the Arlington Fire and Police Departments, joined by Intelligent Labor and
Moving and Top Notch Contracting. Kids will be able to talk to firefighters, police officers, and contractors and touch a fire truck, police cruisers, and heavy equipment.

- “Badger Meets the Fairies” presented by Margaret Moody Puppets. (ages 5 and up) This delightful show tells the tale of Mr. Badger, who is thrilled to meet Blossom, a flower fairy, in the garden. He flies away with her to help the fairies build a playground. But then it’s complicated; the fairies won’t use cement; and Mr. Badger wants to learn how to fly.

This event is organized by the Arlington Heights Community Association and the Arlington Chamber of Commerce. The Arlington Heights Community Association (AHCA) is a group of Heights business owners, residents, and non-profits who meet monthly to address local issues and concerns, support beautification projects, and organize public events in the Heights such as three seasonal window paintings, and the Annual Holiday Stroll. Meetings take place on the third Thursday morning of every month.
