It’s almost FESTIVAL time in Arlington Heights! Get ready for this special seasonal celebration of community in Arlington Heights! The Heights Spring Fling Festival is coming up Saturday, June 10, 2 – 5pm and will feature live music, poetry readings, a variety of family-fun activities, 29 community information tables on environmental sustainability, and beautifully painted storefront windows with colorful spring themes!
This year’s Spring Fling Fest has received a grant, via the Arlington Commission for the Arts and Culture, from the Massachusetts Cultural Council, as well as fantastic sponsors! Organized by the Arlington Heights Community Association, Arts Arlington, and Arlington Chamber of Commerce.

CHORAL MUSIC AND POETRY AT PARK AVE CONGREGATIONAL CHURCH
2-4pm: Get out of the sun and bustle and enjoy alternating music and poetry readings. Arlington Poet Laureate Jean Flanagan will debut her collective Kindness Poem, written with community input. She has invited local poets Thomas DeFreitas, Steve Rapp, and Andy Oram to share their work. The Cantilena Choir and The Madrigal Singers share the magic of their vocal music.
