The Arlington Commission for Arts and Culture (ACAC) Grants Committee is pleased to share that the Committee has awarded 21 grants totaling $22,164 in support of the success of local arts and culture initiatives. This year’s grants range from $350 – $2,000, with an average grant amount of $1,000. Grantees were selected from a pool of 38 applications.

The Arlington Commission for Arts and Culture (ACAC) Grants Committee is part of the Mass Cultural Council (MCC) Local Cultural Council (LCC) Program. The largest grassroots cultural funding network in the nation, the Local Cultural Council Program enriches the cultural life of all cities and towns in Massachusetts. Led by municipally appointed volunteers, LCCs award over $5 million every year, supporting 6,000 cultural programs that include everything from field trips to lectures, festivals, and dance performances. Arlington is proud to participate in this program, and our committee encourages your engagement.
Information about applying for a 2024 grant will be available in late summer, with an expected grant application deadline in the Fall.
