From mountain landscapes to macro flower details in gardens, still lifes, and everything in between, we’ll learn to capture the beauty of nature. We will cover lighting and composition, as well as look at historical and contemporary examples of photographers working in nature. The class will help you feel comfortable technically and teach you to think creatively. Some techniques discussed will work better if your camera has manual controls, but any kind of camera is fine for this class.
Instructor Suzi Grossman holds a degree in fine arts from the School of the Museum of Fine Arts and in English literature from Tufts. Her photographs explore family and group dynamics as well as living environments. Visit SuziGrossman.com
