Put a little SPRING into your step at the Arlington Heights Spring Fling Festival on May 21, from 2 – 5pm! Bring the family and friends for puppet shows, crafts, a Touch-A-Truck hosted by the Arlington Fire & Police Departments, games, an ACMi demonstration, some fantastic live music, Taiko drumming, and an artists pop up store! Tour the Heights’ sidewalks and enjoy 50+ storefront windows painted by community neighbors. Stop in at the Roasted Granola Café and welcome spring with artwork by Suzanne McLeod, Irena Stanic-Rasin, Lisa Nelson, Pauline Lim, and Robin Jones. Meet Arlington’s Animal Control Officer, Diane Welch, and Nuala, a Great Horned Owl.
Show up early at 1:30pm for some warm-up yoga with Nicole Siegel at Wonder Yoga! (masks required).
There are opportunities galore for volunteering to be part of this community event. Sign-ups are here! Organizers are looking for people to staff tables, direct traffic, photograph the event, and more. Please reach out to volunteer coordinator Amy Reese with any questions.
