Free Fox Festival Workshops for Families

Join us for a free workshop with artist Sara Peattie. Make a fox puppet out of cardboard and other recycled materials for the Fox Festival Parade, a celebration of the Fox Library, our animal neighbors, community and imagination on June 15.

Workshop schedule:
  • Sunday, June 2, 12:30-3:30 pm
  • Wednesday, June 5, 6 to 8 pm
  • Sunday, June 9, 10 am to 12:30 pm
  • Wednesday, June 12, 4 to 7 pm

This is a fun family activity. Workshops are drop-in and open to all; you can take one or more. Children under 7 must be with an adult.

On June 15 the Parade starts at the Fox Library at noon, kicking off the Feast of the East.  Bring your puppet and meet up at 11:30 to get organized.  Join students from the Thompson and Hardy Schools, plus local environmental and arts groups.

Workshops generously funded by the Friends of the Fox.
